This Week's Hot Dogs Must(ard) See - March 18th

The one MUST SEE in each category THIS WEEK in ONE PLACE

The Cinema Trip

10 Cloverfield Lane - Dan Trachtenberg (No idea who he is either?!)

JJ Abrams' team brings you a sequel of sorts to 2008's Cloverfield . It's got John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and the voice of Bradly cooper (oooh spooky) in a Room style nuclear bunker hiding from what...? Rave reviews already. Go and see!

The Alternative One

Amomalisa - Charlie Kaufman & Duke Johnson

Yes it is animated in a style that very much reminds us of Nick Park (Wallace & Gromit) but this one has all the critics losing their minds. Jennifer Jason Leigh continues her comeback and apparently a real game changer that hits you hard in the heart and the head. Go see!

The Kids Flick

Zootopia/Zootropolis - Bryon Howard & Rich Moore

Blowing up the Global box office ($500M and counting), a police officer rabbit and a con artistic fox take on a crime mystery.... Voices of Ginnifer Goodwin, Idris Elba, Jason Batemen, J.K Simmons and Shakira as a gazelle! Take the kids, watch their faces light up and all want a pet rabbit and fox!

The TV Series

Daredevil (Netflix)

Season 2 finally dropped on Netflix this week. Expect to see more epic close quarters crime fighting as our visually impaired hero, Matt Murdoch comes up against Jon Bernthal's The Punisher! If anything like Season 1 prepare to lose a day or a weekend serious binge TV!

Macbeth - Justin Kurzel

You know you haven't got around to watching this one yet don't lie! Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard take on the roles of the plotting Macbeth couple this time around. Again people have gone weird for how good this one is and even though we all claim to hate Shakespeare you know the guy wrote the best stories! Macbeth is the ultimate path of power and destruction. Go watch thee DVD!

The Trailer

Sausage Party - Greg Tiernan, Conrad Vernon

Ok so it isn't often a trailer comes around that has had zero hype, zero publicicty and then BAM it is BRILIANT! The evil geniuses of Seth Rogen & co have cooked up another laugh out loud movie (or so we hope). For this tale of food realising their goal in life is to be horribly and painfully chopped up and eaten we have all the gang present; James Franco, Kristen Wig, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, Danny McBride and Michael Cera (his role playing himself in This is the End is still one of the funniest things I've ever seen) WATCH IT.

The Book

Red Rising Trilogy - Pierce Brown

So this isn't techically a film or a book that is now a film, HOWEVER, I am 100% sure you will be seeing this book on the big screen within the next 3 years. The third and final book Morning Star just came out and I devoured it inside of a week. Look at the quote on the front cover, "Ender, Katniss and now Darrow" That says it all people. Go get into this as we all still mourn that there are no more Harry Potter's or LOTR books for us to geek out too.

Have I missed something? Tell me I want to know!!!!
