Full-Length Trailer Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016)

Following January's teaser trailer into the first Harry Potter spin-off film, we have now been treated to the first full-length trailer in all its magical glory.

Set 70 years before Harry Potter's story begins, the famous magical author Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) travels to New York in 1926 with a briefcase of dangerous creatures. When the creatures escape causing catastrophe for both magical and non-magical folk alike, Newt Scamander is hunted from all sides.

We learn that muggles are known as No-Maj in American vernacular and that tensions are running high between the magical and non-magical communities. This is due to the extremist organisation, the New Salem Philanthropic Society who are intent on wiping out wizard-kind.

Colin Farrell plays Percival Graves, an Auror tasked with tracking down Newt. This isn't the first time that Scamander has been involved in trouble with his expulsion from Hogwarts made public by a dark speech from Graves. We hear that he had endangered a human's life with a dangerous creature which sounds very similar to Hagrid's early years and more so when hearing that Albus Dumbledore fought against the decision. This is the first installment of a planned trilogy and is released in November 2016.
